10 things to buy/gift your BTS-obsessed friend

Welcome to my blog!

Since quarantine is still currently taking over all of our lives at the moment, I decided to begin writing and start my very own blog!

Now, onto the gifts.
We all have that one friend that just loves this group (BTS) to death. In that case, I would be that friend.

However, if you have been living under a rock and don’t know a thing about this phenomenal group, let me help you NOT buy the wrong gift. Listen, just because we love BTS doesn’t mean we want their faces splattered over everything, ok? Let’s keep it a little more low-key. Without further ado, let’s get to the presents!

1. Finger hearts 👌❤️
This cute case and eco bag are great for someone who likes K-pop, Korean culture, or simply cute things. Gift your friend something that’s practical, aesthetically pleasing, and better for the environment <3

2. BTS album, duh
If your friend doesn’t already have the latest album release, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to get them one. An extra bonus to buying albums is that they help BTS rank higher on the music charts the more you buy, and wouldn’t that make them happy?
You can stream ON and purchase your very own album here, or you know, buy one for your friend. Am I convincing you yet?

3. A BTS Light Stick
Fans call it an army bomb because ARMY is the fandom name, but most people don’t take that term very well, do they? Anyways, the new version was just announced and let me just say, that thing is magnificent. This is a great gift idea, especially for the person you know is going to their concert. Let me just warn you though, these things are mighty expensive. Gee, you must really like this person, huh?

You can purchase version 3 or version 4

4. Bt21 characters galore
These fluffy things are so adorable!!! For context, each of the members has designed a character in collaboration with Line Friends. Simply ask your friend who their bias is, aka their favorite, and select the matching character for that person. There is also a character named Van that represents the fandom (if they don’t have a bias/if they like all the members equally). Or if you’re the MVP, you could just get them all of the characters.

5. Uno BTS
This classic card game is affordable, coming in at around $7. If you’re on a budget, this is the gift for you. At a whopping 3,906 reviews, this game has a 5-star rating. Just don’t blame me if they don’t like a member anymore after getting one too many +4 cards 🤪

6. A BTS birthday party!
This may be too much for the person you are doing this for, but if you know for certain, meaning 100%, that they will like it, you can surprise your friend with a BTS extravaganza. With this party set, all of the major work (decoration) is done for you, now you just have to get the food. Honestly, I feel like this gift would only be good for younger fans, as the older ones may think this is too cheesy. If you are a parent reading this for your child, you may want to ask them before putting this all together.

You can purchase the party package here

7. ARMY membership
This is the official fan club membership where fans can get early access to purchasing concert tickets and fan-related content. The reason why this is not high on this list is because it requires the person’s personal information, and if you’re not close to them, you probably wouldn’t know or have that. priced at around $30, this membership lasts exactly 1 year before expiring. Memberships have to be renewed 1-2 months before expiring if the person wants to continue using their benefits.
You can follow the instructions on this link to complete all the details regarding the membership

8. Desk Calendar
If your friend is often forgetful of dates and events, it may be a good idea to subtly let them know with this BTS persona-themed desk calendar! My cousin got a similar one for me a couple of year ago, and the paper and pictures are very high quality. Also great for people on a budget ($9)

You can purchase this desk calendar here

9. A full-sized BTS cutout 😱
You can either purchase a cardboard cutout, which may be more professional-looking, or you can design one yourself here. Either way, this is sure to give them a chuckle. Just make sure they are ok with it first, capiche?

10. A BTS cubic painting
With over 25,000 stones, this craft project where you place little beads onto corresponding colors on a canvas may leave you crying. Satisfied, but crying. All I will say is give yourself LOTS of time if you want to do this to yourself.

You can purchase a kit here and see it all for yourself. Good luck!
